In March 2020, the French government decided to put the country on quarantine. This lockdown decision was applied again in October 2020 which led to distance learning courses and online classes for students. However, even though students weren't able to meet physically, it's still important to keep in touch with people whom we are working with and whom we are laughing with ! To carry out this mission, we could count on the different students associations of the IUT which suggest doing different activities at home. For example, the TC Events association organized few Instagram lives to play Categories games and talk with teachers about their quarantine daily routine.

As an association related to international, we encourage students not to give up learning foreign languages. With this aim in mind, we organized an Advent Calendar on Instagram on which they could participate in polls to decide which international tv shows were the best. Those daily Instagram posts resulted in debates on tv shows with students and motivate some of them to watch their favourite show in the original version. The most important thing for all of us is to feel that we are together even if it is via video calls or social media. Keeping in touch with each other is essential for students. A first-year student has to know that he/she can rely on second-year students for help as an international student does with all of the students of the IUT.
